Attend a Café Evening in Nuuk

Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 19:00 to 20:30 Café Meeting about Grief – Theme: “Grief & Holidays”

Join us for a café evening about grief in Nuuk, designed for those who have lost a loved one due to illness, suicide, accident, or in other ways.

The theme for this café evening is “Grief & Holidays,” as grief often feels heavier during the Christmas season and other holidays. Gathering and talking about grief can also help during these times.

The evening begins with presentations from two volunteers who have experienced loss and will share their stories about grief and holidays. Afterwards, there will be a cup of coffee, and attendees will have the opportunity to talk with others who have experienced loss.

19:00-19:05: Participants arrive; coffee, tea, and cake served

19:05-19:10: Aliasoqatit volunteers introduce themselves

19:10-19:35: Volunteers share their experiences with the theme: Grief & Holidays

19:35-19:40: Break

19:40-20:20: Group exchange of experiences, where participants are welcome to ask questions, share, or simply listen to those who wish to share

20:20-20:30: Summary and evaluation of the evening
