Aliasoqatit’s Volunteers

The volunteers come from diverse backgrounds, but they share the experience of having lost someone close to them, whether a family member or friend. Some have lost loved ones after a long illness, while others were taken suddenly. Some may have experienced the loss of their loved ones in accidents, due to illness, suicide, or addiction, or in other ways; but all have faced loss and are eager to share their experiences with you. You can meet some of them at Grief Café, others through the Grief Support Letters, and the Grief Chat  where you can chat with a volunteer who has experienced loss. Aliasoqatit has volunteers in Nuuk, Qaqortoq, and Sisimiut.
