The Fear of Forgetting

The Fear of Forgetting

Join a café evening on grief in Nuuk.

For those who have lost a loved one through illness, suicide, accident, addiction, or in other ways.

The theme for this café evening is the fear of forgetting.

When we lose someone, the fear of forgetting often follows—forgetting the person we knew and miss. How did his laughter sound? What would she have said? How did he look? During this café evening, you will hear experiences of coping with the fear of forgetting those we have lost.

The evening will begin with presentations from two volunteers, both of whom have experienced loss and will share their stories.

Coffee will be served, and there will be an opportunity to talk with others who have experienced loss.
