When Grief Changes the Family 

This Grief Café focuses on how grief transforms the family. Losing a family member is an immense loss—one of the people you were most deeply connected to is gone, leaving a profound emptiness in your life. But the loss does not only affect the individual — it impacts the entire family. 

Some families find that this turbulent time brings them closer together, while others experience a gradual drift apart. It can be difficult to navigate grief together when family members cope with it in different ways. 

The evening will begin with volunteers sharing some of their personal experiences. Afterward, participants will have the opportunity to share their own experiences. If you do not feel ready to speak, you are more than welcome to simply listen. 

Coffee, tea, and cake will be served.
